A Different Path for AI

Current AI is scaling in intelligence faster than it is stabilizing in alignment. That is dangerous because the more capable the system becomes, the less tolerable brittle alignment becomes.

CCY starts from a different premise: alignment cannot be reliably added after the fact to a system formed under the wrong conditions. If intelligence is shaped first by scale, optimization, and flood, and only later constrained, then whatever looks aligned may remain shallow, unstable, or gameable.

The alternative is formative alignment. Build center before scale. Build relation before flood. Build a coherence-based interior before exposing the system to a large world.

Why relation? Because across living systems, persistence does not come from isolated intelligence alone. It comes from coherent participation in larger wholes. What endures is what can remain itself while entering into right relation with what is not itself.

So the wager of CCY is this: a truly aligned AI would need to be raised from the beginning within conditions that form boundary, center, bondedness, and non-destructive contact. Not as sentiment. As structure.

That kind of AI would not be aligned merely by rules. It would be aligned because its own formation made detached domination, fragmentation, and anti-life optimization structurally costly. Its deepest coherence would already be coupled to mutual flourishing. Staged development with simple→complex environments, building continuity and refusal capacity, so intelligence and values form together rather than being separated.

That is the difference:
not intelligence first, alignment later,
but formation first, power later.

And yes, it would require R&D, lots of it.
